Service Purpose

JuanResponse is a community coordination tool operated by the organization operating this JuanResponse deployment. It helps people share disaster-related reports, offers of help, resource updates, road updates, and verified information. It is not an official emergency dispatch, rescue, police, medical, ambulance, fire, or government response service.

Emergency Disclaimer

If someone is in immediate danger, contact official emergency channels, local government units, barangay officials, emergency hotlines, medical services, or nearby responders directly. Submitting information in this app does not guarantee rescue, relief delivery, medical treatment, transport, verification, or government action.

Who May Use The Service

Public users may submit and view allowed public information. Registered users may access account features. Trusted responders, moderators, and incident staff may receive additional role-based access after approval. Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked to protect safety, confidentiality, or service integrity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Submit only accurate, good-faith, necessary information.
  • Use public fields carefully because they may be visible to others.
  • Do not place phone numbers, exact home addresses, government IDs, passwords, private diagnoses, or sensitive family details in public fields unless urgently necessary.
  • Update, correct, or ask for removal when information changes.
  • Follow responder instructions and local safety guidance.

Responder And Staff Duties

Responders and staff must use restricted contact details, exact locations, and case information only for response, verification, safety, moderation, or incident operations. They must not copy, disclose, sell, scrape, publish, or use restricted information for personal, political, commercial, or unrelated purposes. Accounts may be audited and revoked.

Uploads And Content License

You must have the right or permission to upload photos or other content. By submitting content, you give the deployment operator a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, process, moderate, share, and remove that content as needed for disaster-response coordination, safety, verification, legal compliance, and app operations.

Prohibited Conduct

  • No hoaxes, scams, spam, harassment, threats, hate, or doxxing.
  • No impersonation of responders, agencies, officials, or victims.
  • No fraud, price gouging, trafficking, exploitation, or unsafe rescue claims.
  • No unauthorized scraping, bulk download, re-identification, stalking, or misuse of contact/location data.
  • No attempts to bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or use another person's account.

Moderation

The operator may verify, edit, label, restrict, preserve, escalate, or remove content or accounts for safety, abuse prevention, operational integrity, legal compliance, privacy protection, or community trust. The operator may share information with appropriate responders or authorities when necessary for safety or law.

No Verification Guarantee

Some information may be submitted by the public during unstable conditions. The operator may moderate or verify content, but does not guarantee that reports, offers, identities, needs, locations, resource availability, or road conditions are accurate, complete, current, or safe to act on. Users and responders must make their own safety assessments.

Availability And Changes

The service is provided as available and may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable during disasters, network outages, power failures, attacks, or maintenance. Features, access rules, and these Terms may change as an incident evolves or as the deployment operator updates the service.

Disputes, Law, And Contact

These Terms should be interpreted under applicable Philippine law unless the deployment operator specifies otherwise. For questions, concerns, or requests, contact the current incident command or moderation team.
